[smiley=bigcry.gif]  I think my love of Davy is what started me off as an Anglophile.  I was bummed last year that I missed their concert in London because I had to be out of the country for work.  But I did get to see all four of them in concert at the Greek Theatre in LA in 1986.  It was a girlhood dream come true.

Rest in Peace, sweet Davy.  You gave the world joy and happiness.  If only everyone could do that. [smiley=smitten.gif]

I felt like bawling. I held it in because my husband was right next to me and he would probably think I'm silly for crying over a celebrity. I've never been so upset over a celebrity dying. I couldn't even talk for hours, I was so painfully sad. I guess I just wasn't expecting this for another 20-30 years, 66 is not really old at all. I love the Monkees. :(

I had my year 6 music class listen to Daydream Believer in honour of Davy today. They loved it, too.
