American Volunteers for Nat. Geographic Science Documentary
« on: March 02, 2012, 02:58:11 PM »
Hi,

I’m an American expat from San Diego working for Pioneer Productions, a global TV production company based in London. We need volunteers for a two hour science documentary that we are producing for the National Geographic channel that will be aired in the US. One part of the documentary is going to be about social behavior and we want to carry out some experiments with some volunteers to look at these behaviors.

The experiments will involve approaching new people, for example in a bar environment.

Examples of the experiments may include:

-Wearing eye tracking goggles and seeing how the gaze of men and women differ when meeting new people
-Seeing the effects of alcohol on people’s perception of attractiveness
-Looking at how facial symmetry affects our perceptions of attractiveness

We will be filming for an afternoon/evening on one day between Friday 9th March and Monday 12th March

Ideally, we are looking for single people who are comfortable with speaking with new people.  We will provide free refreshments and £25 compensation for your time. If you are interested could you reply to Helen.Wollner@pioneertv.com with your phone number, a photograph of yourself and answers to the following questions:

-   Age
-   Relationship status
-   Employment status
-   Sexual orientation

I look forward to hearing from you,

Micah
