Baby gear - central London - pick up only
« on: March 12, 2012, 11:37:57 AM »
I have a lot of baby gear that we are looking to move along.  Our little guy has outgrown it and we need the space!  It was all purchased new. Everything needs to be picked up from our flat, a few blocks from the Baker Street tube station.  Prices are flexible and I will add pics as I take them.

-Maxi Cosi Pebble Carseat.  Black.  Like new, used 2-3 times. With rain cover.  £35

-Fisher Price rainforest jumperoo.  Good condition.  £25

-Graco Swing 'n Bounce 2-in-1 Infant Swing -- both an infant swing and bouncer.  Excellent condition. Like new. Apple pattern (unisex) £30

-Bumbo baby seat with tray.  Blue.  Excellent condition. £10

-Fisher Price baby papasan. Good used condition. £10

-John Lewis dark rattan Moses basket.  Good condition. £20

-Moses basket rocking base.  John Lewis.  white wood. £5

Great stuff if you are preparing for a new baby!

Can I ask why you only used the car seat 2-3 times?  I'm looking for a Pebble and this would be ideal!  I think the hubster would also be able to pick it up, but I need to check with him.

We don't have a car!  :D There is nothing wrong with it at all -- I was convinced we would use it more, but never did after the first week home with the baby.  So it has just been sitting in the corner of the nursery.  We have a snugly insert for it, too, if you'd like it.  I will take pics tonight when my husband gets home (to corral the 11 month old who is magnetically drawn to cameras and all tech gear).

That's what I thought it might be! The only problem is pick up- the hubster isn't overly thrilled with travelling from London Bridge to the center of London and then back to Brighton in peak commuter time. I am way too big to make the trip comfortably. So, unless shipping is an option it may not work for us. Rats!

Wow! I wish I needed some of this. I just budged my way in here to say that the Baby Papsan chair was the best and favorite piece of baby equipment that I had. Loved it!

Still trying to talk the hubby into making the trip. I don't think he understands how expensive they are new! Wish you were in Brighton- we'd take mOre of it off your hands!!

Let me know what your husband says, I've got another interested person, but you have first dibs!

The baby papasan and jumperoo were the two most-used items.  My niece loved her swing and hated her papasan and our little guy was the exact opposite!  Loved the papasan.  That's why the swing is in perfect condition.   :D

Sarah, is there any way to let me know today or tomorrow at the latest.  The other person can pick up either day, but I wanted to give you time to make a final decision.   :)
