I don't see many films, so I'm struggling to answer this one...

2) If you could only eat one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
taco salad!

3) Would you rather live in complete comfort for the rest of your life but experience little to no pleasure, or would you rather have one year of total pleasure?
Given that I'm not terribly keen on the idea of hanging around this crappy world any longer than I must, I vote for quality over quantity:  the year of total pleasure, please!

4) What is your earliest memory?
I don't know if I am actually remembering this, or just remembering a photograph, but... an Easter egg hunt on my parents front lawn when I was about 3.

5) Do you have any siblings?
yes, I have a sister.

That book creeped me out to no end and gave me nightmares for ages. I refused to see the movie. It's such a scary and unsettling premise....

Definitely!  DH says it's just a device to get at the broader theme therein - which I completely 'got' from watching the film, I think.  The book just didn't hold my attention at all.

I think this changes for me, but I know we had a thread recently about it...

Oops!  I forgot about that thread, but it must have been rolling around the back of my mind.  Still a good question, here or there.  [smiley=blush.gif]

I have to agree on Shawshank Redemption. I am a complete Morgan Freeman fan and he brought so much to the character.

2) If you could only eat one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
Tacos

3) Would you rather live in complete comfort for the rest of your life but experience little to no pleasure, or would you rather have one year of total pleasure?
I would say pleasure because comfort without happiness doesn't sound like fun.

4) What is your earliest memory?
The one that stands out most is puffing on one of grandma's discarded cigarettes when I was three. She threw it down and I picked it up.

5) Do you have any siblings?
A brother who is 11 months and two weeks older, and a sister who is nearly eight years younger.

I had pneumonia when I was about a year old.  I don't remember it (of course), but I was in a tented crib in the hospital as well.  Even though I don't remember it, before he took me to the hospital, my dad sat up with me making sure I could breathe.  He was watching "Harold and Maude" which had come on the late channel.  Years later, it became one of my favourite movies, and Dad blamed that night.

Aww  :) :)

I've not seen the film, but I actually really loved the book.  It was one of those random books I picked up, never had heard of it or anything and read it all cover to cover quickly.  Hehehe, just another thing that makes the world go round!

Oh yeah, most people I've heard say they really liked the book too.  I just have to be awkward!  [smiley=mad.gif] :)

Hmm, tough one actually. Probably the Swedish Girl with a Dragon Tattoo as I thought the book was pretty rubbish!

2) If you could only eat one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would you pick?

Nasi Goreng! (Made by my mother) Or jus plain rice made with butter and a little salt.

3) Would you rather live in complete comfort for the rest of your life but experience little to no pleasure, or would you rather have one year of total pleasure?
Pleasure of course.

4) What is your earliest memory?
I don't have much early memory at all, almost none, I do remember being sick one time when I was about 6 and crying because my mum wanted to go out and leave me with my sister, but I think I only remember it as there's a picture of it (why, I have no idea!)

5) Do you have any siblings?
A brother who is 5 years older and a half sister who I consider to be my sister (I didn't even know she was my half sister until I was like 14) who's 13 years older.

Great to see so many join in!  Hopefully we still have some other members out there who want to play too.

I'll pick someone on Friday who can do next week's questions on the weekend or on Monday!  :)

Oh yay!  Thanks for playing, PP!  :)

Ok - kbeech06, you're up!  How about giving us 5 questions for this week? :)

I am not sure if she's seen this - I'll send her a PM to see if she'd like to make up our questions for this week, and if not - I'll ask someone else.  Stay tuned!
