I usually jokingly refer to them as bloomers, if I have to mention them, because it is such an antiquated word that it sounds funny.
That's what my mother called them!  :D

I sometimes jokingly call them pantaloons, but I may have to incorporate 'bloomers' into my vocabulary.  :)

My bum is so wide bloomers are probably appropriate for me!   Where can I buy those?  ;) ;D

Maybe people are concerned with underpants 'cause they need coverage, as they get food on them?  :P

I'm headed back on Wed!!! :) so excited. Do you guys claim any of this on your customs forms?

So far my list is:
Stick deoderant for hubby (He loves degree)
Candy for friends: Tootsie rolls, twizzlers, peanut butter twix.
Have a lot of requests for smores pop tarts
Peanut butter M&M's
Lawreys Seasoning Salt (one of my fave mixes)
dental flossers: all the ones here i've tried shread on my tight back teeth. speaking of that..
CREST TOOTHPASTE!
microwave popcorn
Bath and Body works lotions
scrapbooking materials
Work Trousers from Lane Bryant: All the ones to fit my weird apple shapped body here for some reason, never have pockets on them. And they are the weirdest poly blend instead of the nice ones I bought before I left. An absolute must!

I've never claimed any of that on customs forms. I figure they are well under the money amount allowed, and are either clothes I will be wearing, toiletries I will be using, or snacks to either eat or share.

That's what I figured. I have a weird paranoia of getting a andom search. Lol.

When we came back after our visit last summer, I was a bit afraid of how I would explain seven sticks of deodorant.  ;D I just wanted to make sure I didn't run out. Funny thing is, even with using it at least once a day, it looks like I will be taking two sticks back with me in June.

I would have said flannel pj's and flannel sheets once upon a time but seems like the quality of cotton goods has dropped markedly in the US.

I completely forgot to add white lily flour (for biscuits) and cornmeal to my list!  and thanks to other posters for reminding me to get microwave popcorn.  I like the mini 100 calorie bags : )

People have been very kind to me on their travels, and I now have enough Neosporin to last a lifetime, so won't be buying that this time!  :)

Speaking of which, I think I have a couple of spare tubes of Neosporin stashed away that I really don't think we'll be getting through before we go back to the US again -- well at least I hope we won't be so injured as to need all of that!  (We already have two on the go in the medicine cabinet, so these extras are sealed/unopened.)

Does anyone need some?

Ok!  I've got two tubes - do you want both?  (It may be generic store brand, rather than Neosporin brand, but ingredients composition reads the same.)

I'll see if anyone else speaks up - and if so, I can do one each (just to give someone else a chance if they want one).  Otherwise I'm happy to send them both to you!
