Best and Quickest Way to Obtain US Credit Report?

I will be moving into a new apartment at the end of the month and the landlord would like us to provide him with a credit report. He would ideally like to have it by Tuesday if possible. Is this feasible and how do I go about getting it? I've Googled but I would prefer having a suggestion so I'm not entering sensitive information into unfamiliar websites.

Is this a private landlord? I only ask because essentially all property management firms have access to credit and police report information for prospective tenants. Your 'application fee' - typically $35 for an individual or $50 for a married couple covers this. A small owner-managed property might not, but if you have been charged an application fee (not to be confused with the security deposit) I would question why you are being asked for a credit report.
