Where to find good US wine

American wines are great, but it's very hard to find them in the UK, except for the high-volume brands like Gallo.

Any suggestions on where to find or order US wines (and special points for any ideas on finding the Coppola mid-range!)?

I am usually pleasantly surprised by my local Waitrose selection.

Laithwaites and Majestic are not stellar but you get a broader selection outside of California wines if that is your thing.

We drink a lot of boutique Washington wines and use Wine Direct.
