I am. DH said that I must experience the "god-awfulness" at least once. :D

Mother of God, this woman with the trash bag around her shoulders and what looks like a snake around her neck is hurting my ears.

FallGal--it's all about mocking them, and I believe it works best with large quantities of alcohol--then it becomes fun.

Watching and drinking Pimms. What a great way to relax on a Saturday night.

Yes, alcohol is an absolute MUST! ;D

I loved the Russian grannies! So far no one else has really moved me.

Just waiting for Jedward.  The cheese factor is largely missing this year... Which is why I watch.

Yes. They seem to be very mediocre this year. Turkey had a boat though.  ;D

Ah well. The weakest Eurovision since I moved here. The cheese was thin....

I voted for Russia. I hope the grannies get enough money to rebuild their church. :)

I don't know.  Everytime I see the male announcer's face, the cheese factor spikes up.  Of course, I like the cheesiness in the songs and costumes.  Somehow the announcer talking just makes me want to hurt someone.

Poor Englebert.  But his song was just too slow and sad.  I think Tom Jones would have been a better choice if they really wanted to go the old man route.

Absolutely gutted for the singing Babushkas! I so wanted them to win, and they hardly got any votes from the UK.

I was also rather hopeful for Jedward to be more ridiculous - they were far more enjoyable last year.

Overall: not enough absurdity! After Moldova's performance last year, I think my standard was just set a bit too high.
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut
