It seems like it's taking forever to receive my CAS number for university. I accepted my unconditional offer over two months ago, prepared all my documentation for the student visa- like maintenance funds, started my uni pre-registration... I was told by the points based system team at my uni that they were dealing with my CAS application but I'd need to provide evidence of my financial aid first, so I wouldn't have to pay the fee deposit. My financial aid was finalized and the school certified my loan about 2 1/2 weeks ago, then I had to wait for my official promissory note and the other loan materials to arrive by post. Last week I uploaded those documents and I sent them off to the PBS team as they requested. Still no CAS... but I can imagine how many CAS applications they're dealing with right now. I realize it's only been about a week since I sent off my financial aid evidence, but still- I'm just at a point of impatience and nervousness, sigh. Hopefully it comes soon.
