It's such a nice feeling to finally be in London with DH.  I just arrived yesterday morning, so now I'm just getting over jet-lag.  I've gotten a couple of things sorted already...mobile and bank acct.  Now onto the rest and enjoying myself until work starts.  Thanks for everyone on this site for helping stay calm and understand the visa process a while back.  I'm happy that things have fallen into place for us.   :D

Courtney...for the next couple of months we are staying in Clapham.  We took over the place from a friend of DH's.  We are going to take time to find us our own place by October.

Hey how many massholes are there here?? Lived in NH most of my adult life...but was born and raised in Mass so my children say I'm still at heart a Masshole.

01/30/2012-Biometrics for UK spousal & dependent visas sent out w/ application same day
02/03/2012-Email from UK Consul General application needs further processing will receive decision within 10 working days.
02/09/2012-Request for more payslips and custody papers for daughter.
02/22/2012-Submit the requested documents with prayers.
02/24/2012-UK settlement visas issued :)
03/12/2012-Arrive in MAN UK :)

I'm an original Masshole.  Though I haven't lived there in a long while, having lived elsewhere before moving to Scotland.

I grew up in CT, but went to university in MA and stayed on after for a few years before moving to the UK... so, almost 10 years in MA.

Unfortunately, growing up in CT, my baseball allegiance is... err, um... not aligned to the, um, typical allegiance of the rest of New England!
