Curious if anyone else has gotten this
« on: July 24, 2012, 01:50:19 AM »
Today was the 15 working days since the UKBA New York emailed me to notify me that my appeal was received by the New York office, taking into consideration that they took the 4th of July off.  The following is what was emailed to me

'Dear applicant,

We are contacting you to give you an update on your UK Visa Appeal .
On June 29th we received your appeal form and the time extended request.
On July 6 we received additional documents to support the appeal.
At the moment your case it's being review by an officer.

Thank you for your patience and apologies for the delay.

Kind Regards,

New York Visa Team
UK Border Agency'

Has anyone else gotten an email like this?

That seems very kind of them.  I certainly wouldnt be concerned - I imagine its only b/c you had to submit additional docs.

The additional documents were sent by my fiance's MP's office to the UKBA in England, who forwarded it to the UKBA in New York because the IAC didn't know where the documents we sent them and had proof of them being received were.

Obviously it meant nothing, because nothing has happened.  The 15 days for review are well up so I guess I wait till November and see if they bother sending all the documents to the UK for a court appeal.
