Any one near Blackpool????? Looking to meet up.

I live in Poulton-le-Fylde. Looking to meet Americans in my area! Maybe a day at the park or a pint?

My name is Christie and im a mom of a 15 month old daughter. We are moving to the uk in 6 days, from Houston, TX.

Just looking to meet up for a chat or get together. Feel free to contact me.

June 26th 2012- paperwork arrived NY
July 2nd 2012 - package opened
July 13th 2012 - phone call to confirm information
July 17th 2012- email to say my visa has been issued!

Hiya-  We live in Southport, which is right across the water from Blackpool (I hear when the tide is low you can hire a hover craft to take you across)  I have a 6 month old daughter, a 22 month old son, and a 9 yr old son.  Maybe once you get accustomed to the area we could try and meet up somewhere in the middle? :)

Ah Dannyboy!  What a weird coincidence. My hubbies name is Danny as well.  If you tell me your wife is from Northern Cali this might turn into an episode of the twilight zone. :)

I see this was posted in October, so I'm not sure if you're still checking the boards. Anyhow, I'm a Texan (living in Fort Worth) moving to the Poulton area the end of April. I have 2 girls, age 5 and 2.5. I couldn't believe it when I saw someone in Blackpool!  I would love to meet up with any Americans once I get settled in. Also have a couple of questions about schools if you've got the time to chat. Thanks! ~Pam
