What is pâte de peche?

I'm trying to make a cheesecake and the recipe says I need 1 tbsp pâte de peche, anyone know what that is?

For cheesecake, I expect they mean peach paste, kind of like candied peaches.  Does that sound right?

I have no idea, don't even know where to find it if that's what it is.

It's for a cheesecake, add all the cream cheese, whip cream and other ingredients for the cheesecake mixture but also add some pate de peche.

Yeah, it's definitely peach paste.  Can you get some peach jam?  That would work. 

I don't know where to find peach jam, don't see it at tesco.
Is it possible to make a bit?

Sure.  Chop up some fresh peaches, add a bit of sugar, cook them together over medium heat until they are thick.  Peach paste .

Oh yea, also do you know how much is 5g gelatine sheet?

 I got the Dr. Oetker Gelatine sachets - 1 sachet set 570ml/1 pint liquid
or supercook select fine leaf gelatine - 4 leaves set approx 570ml/1 pint

Does the Supercook gelatine say how many grams are in a leaf? Do the Dr. Oetker sachets say how many grams they are?

This website says that sheet gelatine and powdered (sachets) are interchangeable - i.e., 5g of gelatine sheet should be the same as 5g of powdered gelatine.

It doesn't tell me by grams.

My Tesco and M&S has peach jam.
