Just wanted to say I received my Secret Santa gift a few days ago.  I haven't peeked, though it's tempting!  Anyone else get theirs yet?

Ho ho ho ho! Well historyenne, you must have been a very good girl this year! Also Santa loves a trip to lovely Dorset to take the sea air - especially bracing this time of year, ho ho ho ho ho!


Santa's helpers have informed him that Olive's gift is speeding its way to her now & should be there very soon!  But no peeking until December 20th, remember - that's official gift opening day!


Monday December 17th is coming up quick - well, on Monday!    So knowing that Santa's helpers have all been busy at work, I'd expect to see quite a lot of present arrivals in the next several days - hoping all will be at their destinations by Monday, well in time for opening day next Wednesday!  Ho ho ho ho ho!


Merry Christmas everyone!!  Singing 'Oh I wish it could be Christmas every da-ay...'  An old favourite from Santa's groovy 70s days!

Sorry for neglecting this thread but I had a family emergency I was dealing with. 

However, some elves have been VERY busy and I am happy to report that Aquila, Historyenne, ksand24 and Equestrianerd all have presents on their way! 

Ksand, I was told that you should not open the outside box until the opening day. Mysterious!! 

Getting close now.

I got a package from Cornwall that I assume came from Santa, but am not positive as I haven't opened it yet. Will see come Monday, I guess! (Unless Santa says otherwise here...)

Courtney, sorry to hear about your family emergency. 

Please could you clarify the Official Opening Day details?  In your original post, you said it will be Wednesday December 20th...but next Wednesday is December 19th, and Thursday is December 20th... (and to try to have people's pressies to them by the 17th)

I'm pretty sure it arrived this morning... I wasn't sure if it was my Secret Santa gift or not, but just in case, I didn't open the box .

Ho ho ho ho!  That's right, Mrs R, Santa is doing his best to keep track of all the presents for the good girls & boys, who is naughty & who is nice - Santa's work is never done.  Ho ho ho ho ho!  Good thing I have Mrs Claus and the elves helping me keep everything sorted.


Another update - Santa has it on very good authority from another of his helpers - Gottagettolondon's gift is on its way too!  Seems like the UKY Secret Santa 2012 gift exchange is really starting to heat up now!  Ho ho ho ho ho!


Who wants to bring mince pies & cocktails to the opening party next week?!

Now I have received a international telegram from Beccarose's Secret Santa that reads as follows:

Just letting you know that Beccarose's gift was sent today and should arrive in 2 or 3 days assuming USPS behaves itself in the way it should!

Also, her gift would be best enjoyed sooner rather than later, though it will certainly keep well beyond the opening date. So it's up to her if she'd like to open it before opening day.

That sounds pretty exciting, Beccarose!  If you do decide to rip into that bad boy early, just keep it secret on here until our Official Gift Opening Day next Wednesday, ok?  Ho ho ho ho ho!
