Just bear in mind what apps you buy. You'll not have access to the US apple store to update your US only apps when you are in the UK.

I have both US and UK apps on my iPhone/pad and it's a bit of a pain to update, however as long as you have an address and a local credit card in both countries, you are all set. It's just time consuming.

I didn't think of the apps. I'll prolly just get instagram and a few easy ones and then get all the ones i want once i move over and access the UK store. Yay though I can use it there :)

iTunes determines your country based on the credit card registered with your account. If you keep a US card then you'll still have access to the US store, even if you open another account with a UK card.

Interesting! I thought it was based on ip address. Can you have 2 accounts on one computer?

I update my US apps all of the time from the UK, you can still access the US iTunes Store from the UK if you have a US account.

On one computer, sure. On one i-touch/phone/pad/pod? I don't think so. I know with mp3s that were locked you could just share them with your other account, but I haven't heard anything about sharing apps.
