Reading/Newbury area?

It seemed for a while there was some interest for a meet-up. I am just wondering if there is still interest in meeting up somewhere in Reading,Newbury (Berkshire)

Would love to meet up with some fellow Americans if anyone is interested.

I have been in Newbury going on three years now and only met one American, that was in Sainsburys. Lol He had an Arizona cap on, so I got the guts up to talk to him. He did give me his business card and offered for me to call him, but am a bit shy at calling someone out of the blue like that.

I would love to meet up with some local fellow Americans! I am pretty homesick, and outside of my husband, pretty lonely. I haven't had any luck with jobs, so I am pretty much stuck at home.

Wow, just looked back on here and am glad so many have responded. How funny, we were thinking the same thing about doing a meet-up on or around July

Since July 4th is on a Thursday it may be hard for everyone to meet up on a weeknight. If this is the case, how about we all plan on the following Saturday, July 6th? (We are taking the 4th off ourselves though)

Any ideas where a good place for a meet-up? We will be coming from the Warfield area. We have only been here since last October and am not to familiar with the Newburyport area but we are always up for an adventure

Maybe we can pick a central location for everyone to make it as easy as possible.

Hi everyone! Yay! I too would love to meet up with people that sound like me! My husband and I live relatively close to Reading and could easily get there, but sigh, I/we are not sure about the July 6 date as we have planned to sell some "goodies" at  carboot sales that weekend.
