My husband LOVES coffee.  He never drank it until he met me, being a proper tea drinking bloke.  But now, if it's not ready in the morning or he forgets his travel mug at work he gets so cranky!!!

LOL.  Come to the light dear child.......worship the caffiene!

ding ding ding!!!!

Now you're talkin'!

During the weekend we'll just look at each other when we're trying to get up OUT of bed -- and all we say anymore is "yeah? - yeah!"
Meaning--- I'll get up and make the coffee!
AND the bonus -- FIL hates the "smell" of coffee!!!! My friends -- whom I love very dearly --- sent me coffee scented candles!!!!!!  ;D

Not to be nit-picky, but Goulash is actually Hungarian/Eastern European in origin.

Um...there are acctually many types of Goulash (Goulash is a term for a type of stew).  There is the "Hungarian" goulash, often made with sour cream, and then there is the tomato-pasta-ground beef goulash (often refered to as an American dish) and then there is this awful tasting beet-goulash that my family insisted upon remembering the recipe for upon their arrival from the Ukraine...

Moxie is really Depression-era slang. It also has the connotation of someone who isn't from the middle class standing up for themselves in a slightly brassy way. The women in _Chicago_ have moxie. Tatum o'Neal in _Paper Moon_ has moxie.

my list:

contemporary dance
Calvin Kleins
Seinfeld repeats
joing a union

My list:

food other than curries and traditional British and student fare!
shopping for clothes in the US
bagels
zip lock bags
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Funny enough I actually got my partner back into Football (soccer to us yanks). He kind of lost interest in it and now we have a good natured rivalry between our teams.

Nachos. We now have nachos once a week. It's a make our own sort of thing with whatever we can find, but I think me being a Mex food addict prompts him to make it so often. Yum.

'Twas the other way around for us.  Sadly our teams aren't in the same division any more, but we still have a bit of rivalry going.   ;D

First trip to Florida my husband said "Why are we going to Disney World without the kids (my sons)?  What do adults do there?"

We walked into the Magic Kingdom, he looked down Main Street at Cinderella's Castle, and the look on his face as he suddenly realised why it's been my haven for most of my life (I'm older than Disney World...) was priceless.

He loves it as much as I do now - and we can't go visit my mother in Florida without planning a side trip to Disney as well!  ;)

Ahh, I thought the "HauntedMansion" tag was derived from liking Disney but I wasnt sure... Nice.

I worked there for one year; it was 'interesting' to say the least. I met my fiancee there- that was the best to come out of that experience.

Another thing Ive gotten my guy into--- american baked beans! He took home about 5 tins worth of the stuff. Funny, as I dig the beans over there more!

Yep. I am obsessed with the Haunted Mansion. I am tattooed with the wallpaper from the attraction as well as a mod at a HM website. I go at least once a year and just own a love everything associated with it. Disney has always had that effect.

At least the man is finally understanding it all.

Yeah. My guy loves those American beans as well. How can you not? Sweet and savory at the same time yum!  ;D
