DH now loves Mexican food. SD wants nothing but quesadillas on the weekend.  Also, meat loaf. He loves it. Mayo on sandwiches... some of them anyways. He only had butter before. Trainers. He never wore trainers before we met. Now he has 3 pairs... one is for holidays only. (He has a holiday wardrobe. It stays in the suitcase after its washed and ironed... wierdo)

Hahaha a WHOLE holiday wardrobe? :o ;D  I have noticed that people in the UK really worry about the clothes for their holidays, I mean seem to buy all new outfits for them (and plan on when they'll wear them hehehe).  Maybe it's cause I'm in college and I'm too poor, and are my friends, to buy whole new wardrobes for vacations, but it seems unusual to me. ;)

Oh I love the discounts!!! :D  And I love to shop, can't wait till I have a regular paycheck and can afford to do it more regularly. ;)  I also love the clearance racks, hardly ever buy anything at full price...hehehe ;)

Yep, We buy one T-shirt for everyday, and one for holiday. He has a bum bag for holiday, and one for local needs. Its a standing joke in the family.  He makes me laugh. Plus, packing is a breeze for him.  ;) Gotta love him.

I know it's not food or shopping or anything of that sort, but when I first introduced him to it, my husband hated it, now he's quite keen on the card game Phase 10. It seems that not many peoople have heard of it, and noone that i know of over here in the UK knows of it, but it's become quite a popular card game back in the states, right along with yahtzee, uno, skip bo, the whole lot.
But our family unit is quite addicted to Phase 10.  ;) amaaazziinnnnnnngggggg!!!!!!

*  He LOOOOOVEs Arby's.  If I tell him on the phone that I ate there, he gets jealous.  LOL

*  Wendy's salads.  When he's here, we'll often stop and get a couple to eat with dinner rather than chopping and tossing our own.  Such a bother for only two people.

*  I'm starting to convince him that there are more veggies in the world than potatoes  ::)

*  Flossing.  Not that he had bad teeth, he just had never done it before.  When he saw me flossing, he tried it, and was amazed how much cleaner his teeth felt.  He went back to the UK with enough floss picks to last several months.

*  The Dollar Tree

*  Butterfinger candy bars

He lived in California for a few years before he met me, and was already converted to American coffee, milkshakes, and hamburgers.  It's a shame I missed out on that.  :D

Moxee, Moxie, Moxy...LOL...like the yiddish "hootzpah"....anywho...

I've gotten my husband into sushi, mocha breve's, and dipping bread into seasoned olive oil and balsalmic vinegar.  In return, he has seriously gotten me into the awesome band Marillion!

One of his favorite dinners is what he calls a chili wrap - essentially a burrito :)

He'd never had a tortilla before but now he asks me to wrap his "sandwiches" and let's me try lots of new dishes [as long as it gets wrapped in that tortilla] .

He's also gotten hooked on proper machine coffee with warm frothed milk  ;D

I got my wife into shooting guns the last time she was out here. Seems most people in England have never held, much less fired, a firearm. I have quite a lot of land in the country here in Texas and I had her out with a shotgun, automatic rifle and a .44 revolver.
She and her teenagers had a great time but weren't able to hit a thing with them. They also had, at first, a horrible sense of gun safety which is understandable coming from an area where guns are forbidden. Once I got them past things like pointing a loaded and cocked weapon at their own feet they were fine and there were quite a few smiles all around. My wife is quite petite and I have some cute photos of her firing a shotgun in which you could see the shotgun is nearly picking the poor gal up off the ground.
I would have to say the things I got them into here, that they didn't have there, that they would consider their favourites are: WalMart shopping, Chinese and Steakhouse buffet restaurants, shooting guns, and going out after dark and being able to see stars in the sky from horizon to horizon. That last one had my wife crying since she can't see much of the night sky like that from London.

Oh, another thing I got my husband into is Merlot.  He was not a wine drinker prior to me and now he enjoys Merlot (my favourite wine) as much as I do.
