Dream come true yes. My DH had a dream last night that i arrived at airport and he hugged me while we were both crying. A hour later I got email... I'm over the moon with Joy

if everything is correct on Visa I'm getting on plane tomorrow night

Nov 21st 2011: Biometrics Appointment
Nov 29th 2011: Mailed Documents via USPS Express Overnight to NY
Dec 2nd 2011: Documents Delivered NY
*No Email Whatsoever*
Jan 23rd/24th 2012: UPS came out the blue - Refused :(
Aug 8th, 2012: Oral Hearing
Aug 16th: Letter from Judge Visa Approved
Nov 15th: Email Requesting Passport from UKBA NY
Nov 16th: Sent off Passport Via UPS
Nov 19th: UPS confirmation delievered
Nov 26th: Visa Issued :D

Congratulations. I'm amazed at how long your process took. Did you not hear anything at all between Aug (winning appeal) and Nov (visa issued)? I don't know if it makes a difference but did you do it on your own or with a solicitor/barrister. Methinks I'm in for a long wait - won appeal mid-Oct and still waiting...

8/29/12: Decision upheld by ECM/sent to Immigration Tribunal for hearing/said notified of hearing date after 1/1/13
9/24/12: Rec'd notice of hearing set for 10/17/12
10/16/12: HO Presenting Officer contacts my barrister and withdraws UKBA original decision on basis of his skeleton argument
10/17/12: Papers returned to NY UKBA w/instructions to issue new decision

Thank you... no I heard nothing between winning the Appeal and requesting my Passport... I applied for my visa with a solicitor because I didn't want to mess it up and Appealed with a Barrister... All the best to you Patience is something that is most needed in times like these
