plumbing issues
« on: December 04, 2012, 07:18:12 PM »
Hi,

If this isn't the spot to post this, please feel free to move it.

Do anyone know a site that I can find a affordable reliable plumber in the Hatfield area or can travel there.  My friend is having issues with the boiler and it's been on going, getting very costly.

Please help!

Thanks

I always find tradespeople via www.mybuilder.com.  You post the job online together with your postcode and then the plumbers come to you with quotes!  Best of all, you can read reviews from previous clients, so it's easy to find someone trustworthy who is quoting a fair price.  In recent years we have had a front door replaced, central heating fixed and the roof repaired by reliable, affordable people.

Same here. Only I've used www.myhandyman.co.uk. Same principle, though. I found a lovely man who tiled my kitchen floor, put in a new back door for us and sorted our washing machine plumbing. And, since then, I've passed him onto three friends!
