New cookbook is online
« on: October 07, 2004, 09:21:57 AM »
Thank you for your patience with this, it was a long time coming, but it's finally here.

Feel free to submit your recipes, rate and comment on them. If you find anything that isn't working quite right, please let me know and I'll sort it out.

If you have the  time or inclination to copy any recipes you've posted here, feel free, otherwise I'll do my best to copy theme over when I can. ;) I'll probably go back and start from the oldest threads first.

You can subscribe to recipe categories, suggest categories, and recipes can be cross referenced to mulitple categories so that they are easier to find. It is also searchable and sortable. Latest and top recipes will also be in this board's sidebar soon, with the same of the healthier categorized recipes in the sidebar of the Fitness boards.

I'm going to need to set aside several hours to enter everything from my personal cookbook!

Just thought I'd say how much I love the new forum cookbook.  Thanks, Leah, for creating such a wonderful, and yummy, addition to the forum.

WOWWWWWW !!!

Wonderful new addition to the website!!  I, too, will need some time to enter some of my American recipes in the cookbook.

I've been having quite a laugh lately, after introducing my fellow Liverpudlians to a Southern American dessert...."Chess Pie" !!  It's gotten rave reviews...ha,ha.

Cheers,

Gwinn

What a great idea! Thanks! I'll have to dig up some recipes! How do I go about submitting them?

If you find the category you want the recipe to appear in, underneath the Category title you'll find the link to "[Suggest New Recipe]". If you want the recipe to be cross posted to mulitple categories (example, Low-fat & Appetizers), choose Alias categories and fill in the rest of the form with your recipe details, then submit. :)
