Expiration date on BRP
« on: December 22, 2012, 09:06:52 PM »
I received my BRP today, and the expiry date is two years from the date of issue. I thought the FLR(M) was good for 30 months?
British Citizenship approval: May 2016

She couldn't help thinking that there was a little more to life, somewhere else.
After all it was a great big world, with lots of places to run to.
And if she had to die trying she had one little promise she was gonna keep.

I think the Spouse Visa is good for 30 months (or at least longer than two years) to allow a bit of flexibility entering the UK.... the BRP for FLR(M) should be good for two years.  :)  At least mine is (I have FLR(M), too).

Congrats again on finally getting it!  :)

Spousal visas/entry clearance are valid for 27 months (or at least they were under the old rules). Our BRPs are valid for two years because we are under the old FLR(M) rules!

So glad you finally got yours, FallGal!  ;D
