Did he see you in the dress before the wedding?

A friend of mine did a "reveal" with her husband before the ceremony, which was super-sweet.  It was arranged by the photographer but basically her husband was waiting for her and then when she started to walk towards him, he was told to turn around.  They got to have a really special moment, just the two of them.

This is usually called a "first look" session, and if you google it you can find lots of cool pictures of people's big moments.  It can also be good because it's easier for the photographer(s) to get a picture of his reaction without guests in the way.  ;p  This is what we did at our wedding, outside of the chapel.  It was actually really nice being just the two of us, I thought -- especially since I tend to be socially anxious.  It was a good way to settle my nerves and spend some time together without all the guests' eyes on me distracting me from his reaction.
