How did you do it?

I agree- last summer we had some nice days but nothing that you couldn't get by with a couple pairs of shorts, maybe.  My kids have like 3 pairs of shorts and are just fine too.  Layers are good.  Tshirts and cardigans are great.

We do rubbermaid bins when we travel but only go from car to checkin on the way and collect then straight to a car when we land so can't help with trains etc.  But as far as checkin/ collection you just put them on as if they were a suitcase and they will come out that way too then you just use the cart.
