Moving with XBOX & PS3
« on: January 31, 2013, 03:28:25 PM »
My hubby and I are moving to UK in March and we have an Xbox and PS3 do we need to buy converters or just uk power chords?

As long as they support UK voltage we should be able to just buy UK power chord right?

trying to wrap my head around this stuff is driving me crazy lol!

For our Wii we bought a UK power cord which had a converter in it.  You might want to check out the electronics forum.

To see if things will work without a converter, check to see near the place it plugs in if the label mentions 220-230V. If it only mentions 120V it will not work.

Additionally, things that have a power cord with a block on it (which is the power supply) you can find a new power cord for with no converter.
