I'll second Brymore ice cream.  Black Cherry Whim Wham is my favourite closely followed by the Ginger flavour.

A lot of supermarkets will also stock small amounts of niche makers (like Brymore) who are local to their area.  I think is particularly true of the more upmarket places like Waitrose and Booths.  It's also worth looking at Deli's etc who might stock local produce.


Ah, I bet the Waitrose in Headingley has it!

I agree about Carte d'Or, but supermarkets also sell Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs and lots of the same brands you see in the US.

My DF loves Carte d'Or lol but I'm more of a Ben & Jerry's fan myself (here in the UK) I do feel like that's one thing that the UK needs to get better at.. Ice cream!
