Advice on temporary internet (hotspot) hookup for a brief U.S. visit ?

Hi guys, i'll be in the States briefly (1 month) but the place i'll be staying will not have any internet connection..i need to get some work done whilst there and was wondering if anyone here can recommend the best plan of attack ? I'll need broadband/unlimited connection obviousley but only for a month..i am hoping to avoid calling the long list of ISP's and maybe get some tried and tested tip here.

PS Yes, internet cafe is an option but i dont want to go through that hassle

nah..trying to avoid the "public" route..oddly enough the place im staying is directly across a small public library..but thats a last resort. i was hoping to find someone that specializes in short-term/no-contract type of deal...also one that could set you up within a week as i would need to be going back sooner than i thought.

I'm not sure how fast of a connection you need but hopefully one of the mobile companies offers something to suffice.
