Hiya

Hey everyone, I'm a law student in my native South Carolina.  I've got a boyfriend in Cardiff who I'll be moving for in a year and half when I finish school here and pass the bar.  I've recently found out I've been accepted at Cardiff University for an LLM in Social Care Law, which is not only something I wanted to study, but also provides me with a visa so I can start working and then switch into a partner category later on (boyfriend wouldn't meet the financial requirement on his own).

Anyhow, I'm incredibly excited about my future and have been scouring the forums here for a while making sure I have the basic visa/immigration plan down in my head.  Nice to finally introduce myself.

Congrats on the JD and on the LLM programme acceptance. Very smart to start planning early, especially when you'll have to balance applying/packing/moving with studying for the bar. (I'm maintaining similar levels of busy-ness and cannot wait to just get to London and collapse already.) Good luck with everything!
