When I said 'respond like everyone else normally does', I didn't mean you had to agree or say thank you or anything like that. Plenty of people disagree on here, sometimes very strongly. But you can express that without the string of oxoxoxo and calling someone 'honey' and 'adorable', right? Because surely that's creating drama rather than avoiding it! I don't think it's fair to say chary is the only one trying to "create some drama".

Placing a string of 'xoxoxoox' is not against the rules, and hardly a nasty thing to do.

According to the rules, it seems to me that I am allowed to use "xoxoxoxoxox" as much as I like.

It is totally civil. It is not crass, or dirty. It is not rude. It is not mean-spirited (Although I suspect you are accusing me of that, but I think that is a bit of projection on your part!). It does not incite 'trouble' (under normal circumstances...).

It is not in any way abusive.

It is not unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, OR racially offensive.

It causes no trouble.

Do you find it distasteful? I do not think it 'officially' falls into the 'distasteful' definition.

I like it, and therefore, as it is my choice, I will stick with it.
