Has anyone flown United Newark -> Edinburgh with a pet?

Glad you finally got them over with you and they're doing great. My cats made the trip great as well and it was so worth the hassle and money to have them there with me. :-)

It really makes me smile when on this forum we share our tips on how to save a couple of dollars here and there on groceries or whatever but in the threads relating to shipping our pets it can be seen that no one hesitates for a moment to spend huge amounts of money in order to keep our furry friends with us.
I agree with you, it's worth every penny! 

I'll never forget dropping them off at Newark. My parents were standing off to the side when the guy quoted me the cost. I had my check book out and my mom stepped up and said, "If you only need $13, I'll give you the cash so you don't have to write a check." I was all, "No mom, it's $1300, but if you'd like to pay it that would be great!" She said, "Oh!" and stepped back quickly! Haha!
