US Cosmetology License looking for Products
« on: May 29, 2013, 12:16:02 PM »
Does anyone know if they have a Beauty Supply store where licensed professionals can buy hair and nail products? Do they allow it with a US License?
I know we allow anyone to purchase in our stores with a valid license from any country.

There was a Sally Beauty Supply near where I lived in London.  I bought stuff there before, but not sure if anything would require a license (hair dye, chemicals etc).  I am not a professional and did not need to show a license to buy run of the mill beauty products.

I purchased the equivalent of 40 wt bleach in a UK Sally's and no one batted an eye.  :)

i'm 99% certain that hairdressers, etc are not licenced in Britain, so there would be no need for anyone to ask to see your licence.

Info I received from Sally's:

1. They do have a trade card for Licensed Prof. and they do honor US license when applying for it.

2. They don't call it a "License" but rather a national or international certification.

3.You can buy most products without being a professional but some are FPO (For Pros Only)
