HOTSPOT SHIELD

i have been using hot spot .......paid for the elite.......but it has really been giving me problems lately...........i was unable to get internet access unless i was connected to hotspot...........it really slowed my computer down-alot.......today all of the sudden i couldnt connect to facebook, emails, etc.......i uninstalled hotspot with no luck........then reset my internet explorer........im working fine and rather fast..............so i reinstalled my hotspot........now if im connected to hotspot it will no longer connect to internet.........so once again ive uninstalled and im working fine...............has anyone else had such problems with hotspot....and/or recommendations for another company..............maybe im just not connecting something right.........but ive read online about how many ppl hate it...........suggestions?

I have the free version and only use it when I want to connect to something I'm not allowed to from the UK ie US TV content or file sharing sites. It really slows my computer down when it's running so I limit my usage.

yea my time is almost up with them...........i just hooked up with tunnel bear.........gonna see if they are better........so far so good

I started using TunnelBear during March Madness.  I think we have the Giant package, and haven't had any problems with it.   It's not on my computer so I cannot comment on whether it slows the computer down or not, but he only has it switched on when it's in use.   Hope it solves your problems!

yea last night i signed up for the giant so i can canel if i need to............hot spot was fine until they updated and then the problems began.........thanks yall for the info
