I agree with you on ALL counts - especially the Orioles!!! But GO SOX!!!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

How funny. When the Yankees lost to the Diamondbacks in 2001 it was a huge blow to the whole country (except for me who was supporting the D-backs) and now we're all cheering.

 :)
There are two things in life for which we are never truly prepared:  twins.

Wasn't a blow to me either-I've hated the Yankees my whole life and will always hate them.  I'm always thrilled to see them lose, no matter what!

A huge blow to the country?  Not quite.  I'm glad the Yankees lost.  I stayed up until 4:30am watching it!   :D
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

So very happy am I!!!  I'm a Mariners fan so I have to hate the Yankees because they have that jerk Pay-Rod (er, I mean, A-Rod) but also, I always root for the guy with the worst odds of making it...

The Socks did GREAT and I am hoping and praying that the Curse of the Bambino is lifted here soon...got my red rally-socks and I'm ready to root-root-root for the "home" team!!!

The color green doesn't suit you guys at all. You only wish your teams could accomplish as much as the Yankees have.  :-* Any team in the MLB can beat any other team in the MLB on any given day. They are all talented clubs.  Another year, another dollar and we can look forward to spring training in another 5 months.

Boston has not won a series since 1918 {against the Cubs, what an accomplishment!}  ::) and I honestly would like to see what they can do; maybe some luck will float their way.

I think that, given that the Marlins have only been in existence for 11 years, and they have won two World Series chamionships...they're pretty accomplished.
And my other team, the Cardinals, are nothing to sneeze at either.  ;D

All I can say now is they BETTAH bring it all on home now! If they lose the World Series after all this, I'm sending them my cardiologist's bill! ;D

LOL!!!  That is what I just wrote all my friends in Boston!  I told them to lay off already, it's just too tiresome to hate an entire Baseball team already!
