No more ESPN America
« on: August 03, 2013, 11:28:59 AM »
The ESPN America channel is "no longer available" on Virgin anymore!!!  GAH this is causing quite a bit of panic in our household as my British husband has become obsessed with baseball and I simply will not be able to live without watching college basketball when it starts in a few months.  We've been with virgin for a really long time and have our internet and phone through them as well.  Any ideas on how to watch our american sports or do we really have to switch everything over to BT (or Sky) who now is the only place to get ESPN?  I haven't heard very good things about their broadband whereas our virgin is really fast.  Anyone on BT have anything good to say about their broadband?

ESPN America is no more. ESPN is with BT Sport but from the first weeks listings, although there is baseball, there's not as much, and it has stuff other than US sport on so not sure how good it will be for the college basketball. Can sign up for MLB.tv at about £40 for the remainder of the season though.
