Hello All,
A friend of mine told me about this site, and I'm excited to join it. I'm originally from Minnesota but have been living in Oklahoma the last 6 years. I was supposed to arrive in the UK yesterday but my Settlement Visa was delayed and so I'm going next week instead, although my Canadian/British husband went ahead without me to get things set up. He will be working in Southampton, and we will live in Winchester for the month of September while we look for another place to live. I will likely have more job opportunities in London than any other place, so we're thinking about good places in between Southampton and London that would make for a good spot to live. Would love any advice on that front. We don't have kids and won't have a car right away, but will get one soon. Can't wait to get to know this forum/site more in the coming weeks!
