I contacted britishamericantax a few years ago. The lady there replied (kindly) that she would be too expensive for my situation and recommended an accountant named Alan Newnum who I used for 3 years, until this year when I felt I could do it myself.
Alan lives near Cambridge and we conducted our business by phone, email and post. He charged in the vicinity of 400 pounds (I have some things others might not have).
