Got a Radio Flyer
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:01:32 PM »
This came in the mail a few days ago  ;D

When I was a kid I had the classic style, I mentioned to my grandparents I was going to get it shipped over from my moms, but I found out it was ruined, so they bought me a new one for my daughter.

Daughter is too young to use it, so it now resides on its back on my dresser... since I have no room.. haha but worth it!

Its nice to have something like this in the UK, no where could you buy it here.

Nice! I had a lovely wooden one when I was a child that my uncle built for me. I loved that thing!

You can get virtually identical wagons in the UK, though. Not Radio Flyer brand, but the same thing.

That is an awesome wagon, your daughter will have a lot of fun with it when she is older  :D
I have a much older radio flyer similar to yours with wooden removable sides, I use it to haul all my gardening/etc. stuff around the yard  :)

My parents sent over a tiny little red wagon when DS was a toddler.  He loved it.  Could just about sit in it.

Yeah retro wagons make them, but they are not just the same...

I was talking more about this sort of thing.

I think often people don't find things here because we use different names. It's a festival wagon.

I love them!! I see them at festivals with little ones all bundled up inside (with covers over em that make them look like old west wagons!!) all decorated up with fairy lights and the like and wearing their ear defenders. soooooooo cute!!
