Personally, I prefer Quidco, but I never really got stuck in with TopCashBack. When I was getting started, I found the deals and offer were better on Quidco, and there were more of them. I believe that's still the case.

I'm on both and it's the other way around.  topcashback almost always offer the most cashback.  They're both similar really.  I would have stuck with Quido if it wasn't for the tesco clubcard option on topcashback.

I started with Quidco because they had a really good mobile deal on with Orange at that time, and subsequently for other services (Virgin internet).
If Topcashback has a really good deal on something I need, it's likely I'd sign up for that as well.

But for my random online shopping purchases, personally I'm not going to go out of my way to register with topcashback to gain an extra 1% on a £20 purchase...

Same here, it's only the clubcard points that made the move worthwhile!

It is a service where you get cash back for many of your purchases. Simply sign up, and when you want to buy something from, for example, Debenhams, go to Quidco first and click through from there to Debenhams. You'll get whatever cash back they're offering at the time. You can get cash back for signing up for insurance, switching electric suppliers or signing up for broadband services (frequently pretty big cash back amounts for these). You can also get cash back for your grocery shopping with the ClickSnap service. Details are on the site - take a look and give it a go - you really don't have anything to lose from it! http://www.quidco.com/user/777320/

Thanks for explaining - may go have a look........

I signed up for Quidco and then switched my energy provider (DIE, npower, DIE!).
According to my new energy company, I'm going on suppy on or about 24 November, but I just checked my Quidco account, and I'm not due to get my cashback till March 2014!  >:(

Is that normal to have to wait so long for your cashback?  (I was kind of hoping for some extra Christmas shopping money!)

Yeah, sometimes you need to wait a bit with the big ones, or if it is something you can cancel (like a hotel room).  :(

And I agree about npower, thanks for the reminder that I should investigate and switch this weekend!

Well, thanks again for telling us about Quidco.  Even if it's going to take 4 months to get it, it's still £28 i didn't have before!

Has anyone heard anything about Quidco lately?  I haven't been able to log in for at least the last 3 weeks.  Looks like their site is down?

I'll try again...

Still no joy... I go to their main page where you log in.  I enter my username and password, then click 'sign in'.

Then it just brings up an error message saying 'this page cannot be displayed at this time' and offers me a couple of options like 'refresh' or 'try again later'.  The Windows diagnostic thingy says it can't find a problem.
