Do airline allow two pushchair to be taken on plane?
« on: September 26, 2013, 12:19:23 PM »
It might depend on the airline but I was wondering...

Since the plan is to travel next year, I will have two babies with me but I am travelling alone.

I was wondering can I bring two pushchair or would they not allow it.  Or would there be a fee if there's two pushchair?

If then I have to figure out how to get a double pushchair.
I was thinking my family can push one and I can push one because I don't have a double pushchair at the moment and I don't think I want to spend the money on one.
=)

I'd call and ask around some.  I would think since you purchasing a ticket for at least one they should allow it as a carry on.  Also maybe its like when people have to bring along carseats and have 2 kids.

Let us know

Yes, if you've got two infants you can check in two pushchairs.  Which airline are you flying with?

Could you have your family bring a pushchair when they meet you on the other side?
Or try baby-wearing for one of them instead?
Would the pushchairs be primarily for use during your holiday? If so, it probably wouldn't hurt to buy a cheap one while you're there and just bring one with you - saves trekking it across the ocean with all your stuff and two kids.

If you're travelling alone how are you going to push 2 chairs plus your carryon plus the childrens' carryons once you pass security and at any airports you have layovers at? I think I would invest in a double stroller.
