Though I did miss what sounds like a riveting barn programme.
Ohhhh, I would have loved a barn programme! Is it still on iplayer I wonder?
Things like iplayer, 4Od, etc are so awesome -I am out every night of the week, but I am always wired at 10 pm when I get home and need to decompress my brain.
I think Countryfile is the best show on tv!!
I also enjoy 'QI', 'Grand Designs', 'Russell Howard's Good News', Cooking shows like the Hairy Bikers, Nigel Slater, and Rick Stein, love the documentaries about engineering - trains-transportation-Victorian technology, I loved 'War Time Farm'. I also quite enjoy '24 hours in A&E', 'One Born Every Minute', and even 'Embarrassing Bodies' - because I am quite fascinated with medicine. For drama, I get sucked into "Call the Midwife" because I think its quite a well done show with good acting and costumes, etc -even if quite schmaltzy (the books are much better and not everything is a happy ending). There was another good show called "The Village" which I liked, but have no idea if that's coming back.
