London Meet Up Nov 12 7pm

Back in August I tried to organize a London folks meet up, but being August, it was a challenge!

Since then I've had some more interest and I'd like to put it out there again for Tuesday, November 12 around 7pm.

The potential area could be near King's Cross / Euston / Goodge Street / Warren Street / Russell Square, which is all well served with tube stations.  I know a few spots around there and this can be firmed up as it gets closer.  Any suggestions are welcome too.

Sounds great! Is this more of a "bar outing" or a dinner outing? Is it family friendly?

I would suggest bar/pub.  As for family friendly, I don't see why not, though I'm not sure what pub it will be at yet.

Hi there Nov 12th works, can it be a little earlier 5 ish or so.  I am not big on drinking so I dun know if I should join you all. I don't mind coffee,tea grabbing a bite and getting to know you all. May I suggest Victoria train station. As I am not yet very familiar with the tube.

This is pretty much the earliest I can do in London because I work in Cambridge until 5pm.  Victoria to King's Cross is a direct tube connection on the Victoria line and really easy.

Hi guys,

Been in London for about 15 days now! Feeling a bit homesick to be honest, so it would be nice to meet up with some Americans! I'm not 100% sure yet that I'll be able to attend, but for now I'd like to put me down as a yes. Euston area sounds good to me. Also, I'm not a drinker, so I'd also be down for coffee, food or something similar! But if you all want to go to a pub, then no worries, I'm sure they'll have something that I can drink and eat too

I think I can do the 12th (or at least will sure try to!). King's Cross works for me; as Claudia pointed out -- it's super easy from Victoria (where I work) and is a quick ride up there.

Doesn't appear to be anyone who said they were coming but I will be there from 7-8 with a UK Yankee sign of some sort.

If not look for someone with hair pulled back, a black sweater with leather arms, a big black scarf, and big round earrings made of a seashell-ish type material.
