I think you have to give him the opportunity to respond to your desire to move and your willingness to compromise, but if he doesn't budge, then you have to do what's right for you. Good luck with all of this. I hope you find yourself in a good place, mentally and physically, soon.

I know of another poster on Salt Spring Island who is getting ready to move back to the UK. Do you know her? I mean Salt Spring Island isn't that big.
