general kudos
« on: November 07, 2013, 07:57:05 PM »
I just wanted to start a thank you thread.  This site has been an invaluable source of knowledge & support.  I've met some really fantastic people who I now consider true friends.

While there are many smart cookies on this board, I would like to send a special shout out to Ksand.  You are always available with thorough, well researched information that comes across (to me) as supportive.  If you're ever in my hood, the drinks are on me!

Agreed, especially your remarks about Ksand!  I don't know how many times that gal has answered the same questions over and over and over again - and always with kindness and patience. :)

Well, she was an American girl, raised on promises.
She couldn't help thinking that there was a little more to life, somewhere else.
After all it was a great big world, with lots of places to run to.
And if she had to die trying she had one little promise she was gonna keep.
