Greetings from the West Midlands

Hello everyone!

I'm very happy to have found this forum.  Moved to Warwickshire from Atlanta in August.  Met my husband at a bar (The Local on Ponce, for you fellow Atlantans!) while he was on vacation.  After two years of long distance, I made the big move and we were married in September.  I'm still waiting for my spousal visa to be approved so I can hopefully get a job.  I can't say I don't appreciate and greatly enjoy the occasional midday pub visit with a good book, but I'm getting a bit stir crazy.  Living in a smaller town than which I am accustomed has presented some challenges, but I married a wonderful man who is very sensitive to the things I miss and makes every attempt to make me happy, so I really can't complain!    I look forward to participating in this forum, and maybe make a friend or two.
