Hello
« on: November 15, 2013, 03:12:06 PM »
Hi, I'm not used to just introducing myself so here goes: Hi, my name is Cheryl and I'm from Michigan, right now.  I'm starting my application process for my fiancé visa in a couple weeks and am kind of scared with the process.  I met my fiancé online playing video games over a year and a half ago and he is truly the most amazing person I know; without a doubt my best friend.  I just got back From London earlier this week and cannot wait to get back.  I know that I will have lots and lots of questions, sorry.  I don't know what else to say, that's about it I guess.

Welcome Cheryl!

Don't be nervous about the whole process. It seems much more intimidating then it really is. Take it from all of us since we've all been through a UK visa process at some point.

Are you planning on relocating to the London area? Or somewhere else in the country?

Hiya Cheryl and welcome! :)

Yeah, the visa process can seem intimidating when you're in the thick of it. On the other side you may think, "Hey, that wasn't so bad!" :)

Ask all the questions you need to ask. There are many very helpful and knowledgeable people on this forum.

Thanks, it is very intimidating.  I'm just hoping that I find and send all the right paperwork.  :)  I am relocating to just outside of London, in Grays, Essex.  We already have a flat there.  I just can't wait to get back.  Its just the waiting part that gets me.  I'm not patient.

Hiya Cheryl.  Yes it is very intimidating.  I just recently went through it all.  This forum helped to keep me sane during the whole process.  But as nhlhargreaves  and fallgalsaid, it doesn't seem so daunting after the fact.    Good luck!!
