I moved to the UK to marry my British sweetheart and have been here every since.
My funniest "whoops" soon after I arrived was referring my bum bag (UK) as a fanny pack (USA).
The funnies just kept coming... when my new British aunt asked what my American relatives would send over to celebrate the birth of our daughter, I replied, "stuffed animals" (USA) "cuddly toy" (UK). She must have thought we were hillbillies or something.
