Spareroom - Worth paying for early bird access?

Hi All,

We are about to enter the market for a small flat/flat share in London and while I am aware of Spareroom and have looked it over in the past few weeks, I was wondering if anyone had used the Early Bird feature before by paying for early access?  Found a great place tonight, and while we won't be in town until Saturday, a little enquiry never hurt, right?   And I figure this could be useful for our search anyway.

It's worth paying if you want quick access. I paid during a search once and it made it possible for me to move much earlier into a nicer flat than I probably would have found. It will also let people looking for renters to contact you earlier as well.

Thanks for the input - you never know if it is a bit of a scam or gets you anything different, but if it gets us a nicer place faster then the $30 or so will be worth it!
