I was already a pretty big anglophile when I met Jamie, so I was already into football, Brit music, curries, lager, etc. But now I can add:
-duvet with no top sheet
-European wines (I'm a wine snob but never got too far past California)
-roast dinners

Not many things, I know, but I really was the most Anglicized American I know.  ;)

Things he's tried to convince me about to no avail:
-pickled onions
-steak and kidney pie
-the notion that playing the stupid "fruit machines" in pubs is a good use of money

The kidneys have a metalic taste to me - it's weird, it's not really the texture or anything, it's just this weird metalic tang I get off of the kidneys....

My Jamie doesn't like the kidneys, Anne.  So when he got a pie for me to try we both picked the kidneys out...LOL.  I like the steak part, so does he.  I tried the kidneys..but, no...they just weren't for me.

As far as what he has gotten me into...hmmmm...well, the main thing he has gotten me into is what I mentioned in the other thread:  MARILLION!  The Best Band In The World! :D  I'll think of more things he has gotten me into later...I'm still VERY jetlagged....and my head is "fuzzy" dealing with the damn Floridian heat and humidity...I forgot how much I really hated it!
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.
