Any good food industry job search websites/tips??
« on: February 04, 2014, 03:52:24 PM »
I've just received my BRP and am desperate to start working again! So far I have only found www.caterer.com [nofollow] to be successful in finding any sort of job in the food industry.  I'm in Oxfordshire and I know this may prove difficult in finding something somewhat local, but I have a Bachelors Degree in Baking & Pastry, and have worked that industry since 2006- and I would love to continue it, otherwise I feel my options are to become a care taker or receptionist to stay local.

Or if anyone knows of any jobs for a pastry chef/baker/bakery manager in Oxford, Banbury, Leamington Spa, Strattford-Upon-Avon, Warwick vicinity??

Besides inquiring at your local bakeries and restaurants, there may be related jobs in Morrisons supermarket as well as these careers sites:

Thank you both for the information!  I have found a few pastry chef positions somewhat in my area that I have sent my CV out to.. Still waiting for replies! (fingers crossed!) And I am still checking job search sites multiple times a day for new posts!

Also mapleleafgirl72, I would love to start my own business, but not sure I'm in the right place to right now! I plan to one day though! I will keep that link in mind.
