"Heres our time  line of our Visa activity ....

March 10 2014 - Online application submitted

March 13 2014 - Biometrics submitted

March 19 2014 - Paid Priority service / Supporting documents sent out via UPS

March 25 2014 - UPS tracking shows pkg delivered to Sheffield

March 26 2014 - Email that processing has started received

April 4 2014 - UPS tracking shows Pick up Scan for return pkg

April 7 2014 - UPS shows Shipping Error for return pkg

April 8 2014 - UPS shows my return pkg is waiting to be released by clearing agency

and here we are .. still waiting .... "


This makes me really nervous! We sent ours priority as well and haven't heard a WORD back aside from our FedEx tracking that indicated ours arriving a day before yours.  

Our timeline is as follows:

March 17th: Online Application Submitted
March 19th: Biometrics Submitted
March 22nd: Priority purchased / Sent Documents via Fedex
March 24th: Fed Ex tracking confirms delivery.

Otherwise we haven't heard anything. There have been no emails letting us know they are processing, which I understand they sometimes do not send. The only thing we are going off is the FedEx tracking.

I am very worried that something is wrong at the moment. Our lawyer used his contact email instead of mine so even if something went wrong we wouldn't know.

About the shipping stuff, that is so annoying! I hope you guys get that worked out soon!

I'm so tired of people telling me not to worry so I'm sure you are too! But still, don't worry! Ya'll are through the worst of it!  :) :)

Thank you ... My fingers crossed for you ... All this "hurry up and wait" is for the birds .... Our timelines are so similar .. As of this morning still no email OR movement for my return package ...

NMF921 have you tried calling UPS to see what can be done about your parcel?
I would be losing my mind!

Actually I have been in constant contact with my UPS guy ... In fact just talked to him again about 10 minutes ago ... They are doing a new return label (since we are going thru UPS's account it's a label and not a new waybill ) and hopefully it will be out in tomorrow's shipment ...

And yes it is so very frustrating ...

Hubby is from Cardiff ... Born & raised there ...

NMF921 good to know! I hope you get it early next week!
I fell in love with Llangollen Wales which is North, near the Chester area where my hubby is from. I've never been as far down as Cardiff but would love to. My favorite show when I visit is Gavin & Stacey! OH MY GOD, I love that show!! So sad they didn't make that many seasons.

Elsa,
I love all of Wales ... Have spent a few holidays up north, been to Brecon, the Valleys and along the coast...  Every village town and city are so beautiful and unique .... If you enjoyed Gavin & Stacey you should check out the show "Stella" it's Created by, written by and starring Ruth Jones (Nessa from Gavin & Stacey) ... They just finished up season 3 but thankfully have been renewed for a new season ... It's Fantastic !!
As of this morning still no movement of my package but I'm not giving up hope ....fingers crossed not only for my stuff but for all who's waiting ...

OK, so not sure whether to be excited, or afraid....

Sent my hubby's visa application last week, got email notification of receipt on Friday April 4.

Today, I see a pending charge on my credit card - logged into my Fedex account and we have a package on its way to us from Sheffield.

We haven't had any emails about decisions, and the return package is only costing $22 (the package to Sheffield cost over $60).

The suspense is kiling me....!

Hi - yes, we did.

The only reason we know anything is going on, is because we provided our Fedex billing number so the package would be sent back the same way....
